Project Description
Shadowbox Design Management, Inc. was entrusted with the task of managing and staffing the Grand Gourmet, food tasting event which took place in the iconic Vanderbilt Hall located in Grand Central Station. Shadowbox Design Management was in charge of various aspects of the event, from organizing the bid process for catering equipment to designing the lighting, setting up the audio and lighting equipment, and overseeing the entire event setup and breakdown within a tight 24-hour timeframe.
This event not only required careful coordination and planning but also a deep understanding of audiovisual equipment, event logistics, and design aesthetics to make the most of the magnificent Vanderbilt Hall space. Collaborating with entities like the Grand Central Partnership and Bear Dallis Associates was a comprehensive team effort to ensure the event’s success.
