Shadowbox Design Management brought recreation and design innovation to lower Manhattan by setting up temporary pickleball and tennis courts in Brookfield Place’s outdoor courtyard. This creative activation provided an exciting, accessible, and interactive experience for both New York City residents and visitors, merging athletic energy with urban design.

As the event production company behind the installation, Shadowbox Design Management handled every aspect of the setup — including court layout, truss structure, lighting, surface installation, power distribution, and logistics coordination. Our team ensured that each court met proper dimensions and safety standards while enhancing the aesthetic of the waterfront venue.
